Got bloated on sushi with the wife for $21... how is that even possible? Wasn't even happy hour prices too (5-9 pm Monday through Sunday). Hadn't been here for over a year and the 3 star rating was a little tempting to go elsewhere. Honestly though, I'm thinking it's coming from the Portland sushi snob crowds. Yes this is not the worlds best sushi joint but to get full and eat some tasty rolls for that cheap is pretty rare. Will be back much more for some damn good grub.

As of options for Sushi places, this is a decent choice. I have mixed feelings when it comes to Kaiten belts, but my fiancee loves them as we grew up with these in Asia. The service is pretty average with limited hospitality, but still checking in on you once in a while. The price, especially for happy hour, is almost unrivaled as even the most expensive plates are $1.85. The menu is typical of most Japanese restaurants ranging from the basic nigiri all the way up to their own custom rolls. Personally I have some food preferences, and I would've appreciated an ingredients list under the custom rolls to show me what I was getting.
Some of the hot appetizers like Gyoza and Spring rolls do circle on the Kaiten belt, but keeping them in plastic covers can turn them a little soft. I would recommend ordering these fresh as they come out much better. For the price of each plate the quality and size of fish is very reasonable. One of the interesting rolls that I have found included Mango and Strawberry which I surprisingly enjoyed. -

Long hours at my new office means trying out places around the area. So, my order was to go. Placing the order was a touch challenging and I had to call back because they disconnected. They were also out of yellowtail so I switched everything over to salmon. They did not have any low sodium soy sauce to go. They also did not include wasabi though I asked specifically for it - I honestly want the wasabi more than the soy sauce. The sushi itself was okay but nothing to write home about.

Went in on a busier time of the day, and there weren't many seats available but the table. I was told I couldn't sit at the table with my young daughter because they only allow for 3 or more people. This is not true because I've been numerous other times with only myself and another person and sat at the tables with no problems. I felt kinda put off as no one else had kids in there. Used to love this place but won't be back after today. They lost my business as well as friends and family.

Service today was horrible. We came in at 2 after the lunch crowd. The 3 of us each ordered a soda which took awhile, but we eventually received them but then the server never came back. I like the spicy sushi rolls so I drank my Pepsi pretty fast. She never came to ask if we needed refills. After we were done eating we sat there waiting for her to come count our plates and give us the bill. That never happened either. I kept looking at her and the other server who were leaning against the wall hoping they would get the hint but they didn't. The 3 of us stood up and she ran over to us like we were trying to sneak out without paying. Won't be back and I used to take my employees there for lunch regularly.
